Dear Members,
2011 was a year filled with a lot of exciting and fun-filled events and it was certainly an honor for our team to plan them for you. Before we look to the year ahead - the year of the almighty dragon - we take some time to reflect on our most notable moments these past few months. Read on and see what was so special this last quarter at PCD Stores.
Winter is always festive at PCD Stores. This Christmas, we brought to our stores the enchanted world of the Nutcracker, a beloved holiday tale about girl a named Claire and her toy soldier, the Nutcracker Prince. Inspired by this very same story, we recreated our charity bears in the likeness of these lovable characters. Our children's Christmas party also nestled in this same theme as did our children's Christmas book. All in all, it was unquestionably a magical month at PCD Stores.
For our New Year's Eve celebrations, we had some good old fashion rock and roll fun at Xiamen Zhongshan PCD Stores as we counted down to 2012. As the crowd cheered exuberantly while the music played, we unveiled this year's dragon statue in front of the store as well as the limited edition miniature version. Another notable moment in the New Year was the grand opening of Qingdao PCD Outlet with firecrackers and great discounts to boot! We also proudly distributed the second edition of "Chun Tian You Li," our ultimate gift book of luxury living! So many "good things" to celebrate so early on in 2012!
And PCD Stores would not be PCD Stores without a reminder of our wonderful charitable projects. Famous singer Mr. Sha Baoliang launched the aforementioned charity bears at a ceremony that took place at Beijing Scitech Plaza. Encouraging others to support the worthy cause, he made the first donation at the event. In addition, we also urge everyone to join our upcoming third annual THINK PINK walkathon. Keep posted to our website and book a date with us in any of our cities to walk the "pink" walk.
Happy Chinese New Year!
